Pengeluaran getah asli Malaysia menurun 4.1 peratus pada September 2021
Jabatan Perangkaan Malaysia menerbitkan Perangkaan Getah Bulanan, Malaysia, September 2021. Penerbitan ini memaparkan statistik pengeluaran, import, eksport, penggunaan domestik, stok, harga, bilangan pekerja, gaji & upah dan produktiviti bagi estet getah.
Pengeluaran getah asli menurun 4.1 peratus pada bulan September 2021 (41,180 tan metrik) berbanding pada bulan Ogos 2021 (42,942 tan metrik). Pengeluaran tahunan turut menurun 10.8 peratus berbanding 46,187 tan metrik bulan yang sama pada tahun sebelumnya. Pengeluaran getah asli Malaysia pada September 2021 disumbangkan terutamanya oleh sektor pekebun kecil sebanyak 91.0% berbanding sektor estet sebanyak 9.0%.
Jumlah stok getah asli meningkat 2.0 peratus pada September 2021 kepada 292,271 tan metrik berbanding 286,653 tan metrik pada Ogos 2021. Kilang pemproses getah menyumbang stok akhir sebanyak 92.0 peratus diikuti kilang pengguna getah (7.9%) dan estet getah (0.1%).
Eksport getah asli Malaysia berjumlah 62,332 tan metrik pada September 2021 meningkat 5.3 peratus berbanding Ogos 2021 (59,172 tan metrik). China terus mendominasi sebagai pengimport tertinggi getah asli iaitu 46.0 peratus daripada jumlah keseluruhan eksport pada September 2021 diikuti Amerika Syarikat (13.1%), Jerman (4.3%), Pakistan (2.5%) dan Finland (2.1%). Prestasi eksport produk getah negara disumbangkan oleh produk berasaskan getah asli seperti sarung tangan getah, tayar, tiub, benang getah dan kondom. Produk sarung tangan getah merupakan eksport utama dengan nilai sebanyak RM3.1 billion pada September 2021, menurun sebanyak 2.2 peratus berbanding Ogos 2021 (RM3.8 billion).
Analisis kepada perbandingan harga purata bulanan menunjukkan Lateks Pekat merekodkan penurunan sebanyak 4.8 peratus (September 2021: 497.24 sen sekilogram, Ogos 2021: 522.13 sen sekilogram) dan Sekerap sebanyak 8.9 peratus (September 2021: 538.08 sen sekilogram, Ogos 2021: 590.42 sen sekilogram). Keadaan yang sama turut berlaku kepada semua jenis Getah Mutu Malaysia (G.M.M) yang turun antara 4.8 hingga 6.8 peratus. G.M.M. 20 merekodkan penurunan tertinggi 6.8 peratus (September 2021: 668.98 sen sekilogram, Ogos 2021: 717.65 sen sekilogram). Perubahan harga di peringkat global seperti yang dilaporkan oleh World Bank Commodity Price Data turut menunjukkan harga bagi getah jenis TSR 20 dan SGP/MYS masing-masing menurun 4.7 peratus (daripada USD1.71/kg kepada USD1.63/kg) dan 5.9 peratus (daripada USD1.90/kg kepada USD1.79/kg).
Prestasi pertumbuhan pengeluaran getah asli Malaysia dalam tempoh sembilan bulan pertama 2021 mencatatkan penurunan 4.8 peratus berbanding tempoh yang sama tahun 2020 (Januari-September 2021: 354,359 tan metrik, Januari-September 2020: 372,381 tan metrik). Sementara itu, prestasi suku ketiga 2021 pula menunjukkan pengeluaran getah asli meningkat 47.5 peratus kepada 132,732 tan metrik berbanding 89,985 tan metrik pada suku kedua 2021.
Malaysia rubber production decreased by 4.1 per cent in September 2021
The Department of Statistics, Malaysia today released Monthly Rubber Statistics, Malaysia, September 2021. This publication consists of statistics on production, imports, exports, domestic consumption, stocks, prices, number of employees, salaries & wages and productivity of rubber estates.
Natural rubber production declined by 4.1 per cent in September 2021 (41,180 tonnes) as compared to August 2021 (42,942 tonnes). On an annual basis, the production also decreased by 10.8 per cent as against 46,187 tonnes in the same month of the preceding year. Production of natural rubber in Malaysia was mainly contributed by smallholders sector (91.0%) as compared to estates sector (9.0%).
Stocks of natural rubber increased 2.0 per cent in September 2021 to 292,271 tonnes as compared to 286,653 tonnes in August 2021. Rubber processors factory was contributing 92.0 per cent of the stocks followed by rubber consumers factory (7.9%) and rubber estates (0.1%).
Exports of Malaysia's natural rubber amounted to 62,332 tonnes in September 2021, rose by 5.3 per cent as against August 2021 (59,172 tonnes). P.R. China continued to dominate as the highest importer of natural rubber with 46.0 per cent from total exports in September 2021 followed by U.S.A (13.1%), Germany (4.3%), Pakistan (2.5%) and Finland (2.1%). The performance at national level was contributed by natural rubber-based product such as gloves, tyre, tube, rubber thread and condom. Gloves were the main exports of rubber-based products with a value of RM3.1 billion in September 2021, a decrease of 2.2 per cent as compared to August 2021 (RM3.8 billion).
Analysis of the average monthly price showed that Latex Concentrated recorded a decrease of 4.8 per cent (September 2021: 497.24 sen per kg, August 2021:
522.13 sen per kg) and Scrap 8.9 per cent (September 2021: 538.08 sen per kg, August 2021: 590.42 sen per kg). A similar trend is also observed for all Standard Malaysian Rubber (S.M.R) which decreased between 4.8 to 6.8 per cent. S.M.R. 20 recorded the highest increase of 6.8 per cent (September 2021: 668.98 sen per kg, August 2021: 717.65 sen per kg). The movement of global prices as reported by World Bank Commodity Price Data also showed that the prices for TSR 20 and SGP/MYS decreased 4.7 per cent (from USD1.71/kg to USD1.63/kg) and 5.9 per cent (from USD1.90/kg to USD1.79/kg) respectively.
The performance of Malaysia's natural rubber production in the first nine months of 2021 recorded a decrease of 4.8 per cent as compared to the same period in 2020 (January-September 2021: 354,359 tonnes, January-September 2020: 372,381 tonnes). Meanwhile, the performance of the third quarter of 2021 showed that the production rose by 47.5 percent to 132,732 tonnes against 89,985 tonnes in the second quarter of 2021.
